Decide on a date
Discuss venues and cost
Ask for volunteers to lead committees and serve on committees
Here are the committees and roles we need:
CREATIVE CHAIR
Sobriety requirement 5 years. Responsible for creating and maintaining the aestheric and narrative concepts for the Roundup. Works closely with Marketing and Fundraising chairs on planning and execution. Consults on/creates all visual materials, merchandise, and digital assets.
Team needed: Graphic designer, Decorator
MARKETING CHAIR
Sobriety requirement, 3 years. Responsible for the overall communications, outreach, and information sharing strategy. Leads the marketing team in the creation of all online and offline communications information. Primary owner of the roundup’s social media channels.
Team needed: Editorial Chair, Content / Social Media ChairFUNDRAIDING CHAIR
Sobriety requirement, 3 years. Responsible for planning and executing the calendar of fundraisers leading up to the roundup including
the Pride Dance, Miss Sobriety, Drag Bingo, etc.Teams needed:
1. Pride Dance: Chair, Programing, Talent, Registration / Tickets, Hospitality, Décor, AV, Setup and Runners, Hosts
2. Miss Sobriety: Chair, Queen Coordinator, Overall Talent – Hosts, Honorees, Show Director, Stage Manager, Tech Director, Registration, Ushers, Ticket collectors, Setup and Runners, Stage Crew
3. Outreach / Event Chair – Meetings and additional eventsPROGRAMING CHAIR – SPEAKERS
Sobriety requirement, 3 years. Responsible for finding and providing speakers for the roundup as well as and fundraiser.PROGRAMING CHAIR – WORKSHOPS
Sobriety requirement, 3 years. Responsible for ideating and programing workshop sessions at the roundup and identifying who will
lead them. Leads the team who will oversee speaker needs and setup of workshops
Team needed:
Programming Coordinator, Programming Assistants x4, Setup teams
VOLUNTEER CHAIR
Sobriety Requirement, 3 years, Responsible for sourcing, coordinating, and managing all fundraising and roundup volunteers both in
planning and on-site at roundup events. Create and maintain staffing schedules and ensure team leads
are briefed on specific volunteer objectives, roles, and responsibilities.Teams needed:
Staffing Coordinator, Leads / managers for each event / location, Setup Coordinator, Leads for reach event / locationREGISTRATION CHAIR
Sobriety requirement 3 years. Responsible for tracking and collect all registration information. Managing online and in person ticket
sales and registration. At the roundup, leads the registration team and process to welcome all guests.Teams needed:
Registration Leads x2WEBMASTER
Sobriety requirement, 1 year, Responsible for building, maintaining, and updating the roundup website including and ticket sales
system and online merch store.
